About Me

My name is Hayley. I’m a qualified clinical canine massage practitioner and a proud member of the Canine Massage Guild. I work with dogs of all breeds and ages to support their mobility, recovery, and overall wellbeing.

Dogs have always been at the heart of my life. Having grown up with dogs, they have never been "just pets" to me—they are companions, partners, and family. Today, I share my home with five Cocker Spaniels, and together we train and compete in agility. Working closely with my own dogs has given me a deep understanding of canine movement, performance, and the importance of maintaining optimal physical wellbeing.

My journey into massage therapy began with a personal experience. When my daughter suffered an injury, I witnessed first-hand the powerful impact massage therapy had on her comfort, mobility, and overall recovery.

Seeing such positive results inspired me to explore massage further, particularly for dogs, who cannot tell us when they are in pain. This led me to undertake the Clinical Canine Massage Practitioner Programme with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre, which proved to be one of the best decisions of my life.

Over two years of rigorous, evidence-based study, I gained advanced knowledge of canine anatomy and physiology, refined my palpation skills, and developed the clinical expertise required to deliver safe and effective treatment. My training included a wide range of techniques, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and myofascial release, and the Lenton Method®, equipping me with practical tools to support dogs experiencing pain, injury, and reduced mobility.

I work with dogs of all breeds, ages, and activity levels, providing professional clinical massage to support both rehabilitation and overall wellbeing. My focus includes treating soft tissue injuries and assisting with orthopaedic conditions such as arthritis and hip dysplasia. However, a dog does not need a diagnosed condition to benefit from clinical massage.
