Renewed Paws: Professional Canine Massage
Professional, warm clinical canine massage care for your dog. We work with your vet to ensure the best hands-on treatment for rehabilitation and wellness.

What Is Clinical Canine Massage?
Clinical canine massage is a non-invasive, hands-on therapy designed to assess, treat, and rehabilitate muscular issues in dogs. It supports orthopaedic conditions such as arthritis, hip dysplasia, and elbow dysplasia, helps recover soft tissue injuries (including strains), and aids post-operative rehabilitation. It is also highly beneficial for sporting and senior dogs.
Movement happens when muscles contract and pull on bones. When a dog develops a soft tissue injury or joint condition, the associated muscles—as well as surrounding muscle groups—can be affected. This can lead to:
- Changes in posture and gait
- Muscle tightness and soreness
- Painful trigger points (“knots”)
- Overcompensation in other areas of the body
- Reduced mobility and performance
If left untreated, these muscular adaptations can result in ongoing pain and reduced quality of life. Clinical canine massage works to restore normal muscular function, relieve discomfort, and improve overall movement and wellbeing.
Clinical trials conducted by the University of Winchester into the efficacy of canine massage therapy, specifically The Lenton Method®, found that in a study of 527 dogs, 95% showed a positive response to treatment.

These techniques help to:
